wrote a fascinating post called Introduction to Psychopaths and Ponerology, that was narrated expertly by the folks at , a fine 20 minute primer on the state of our current elite, from the perspective of Doctor Andrew Lobaczewski, a Polish psychiatrist, and his book Political Ponerology. As I listened while I harvested carrots from my garden (it helps to do something earthy and productive listening to someone talking about psychopaths), I was struck by how descriptive this was, of America’s leadership, public and private, but particularly of our government and media. So much of the detail about the behavior of the psychopath seemed to resonate with the idea of Kamala Harris, less the person but more the energy behind her, that thing that has turned her from the least popular Vice President in history, who had to bow out of the Dem primary in 2020 even before voting started she was so unpopular, the established terror she is to work for - to the standard-bearer of the party, bringing joy to the world, the change candidate vanquishing white supremacy and the Patriarchy, who will lead America to the promised liberal utopia.
I thought I would apply the behaviors of the psychopath, as outlined by Dr Karen Mitchell, adapted from the work of Lobaczewski, lifted from the post by Harrison Koehli, to Kamala and her retinue of deep state monsters and media spook mockingbirds.1
‘pathological egotism’: using force, coercion and bullying to intimidate with an intent to create fear; this can also involve blackmail and bribes.
The whole of Kamala’s economic policy is a bribe, money for favored interest groups. Blackmail is what Diddy was for, who she never bothered to prosecute or even question when she was the chief law enforcement officer in California. Blackmail is like Obama saying to black men, vote for Kamala or you are a misogynist. Kamala mostly leaves the force, coercion and bullying to the media, and the Biden Admin to force Social Media to censor Americans, so she can be all cackle and joy-joy.
‘paralogisms’: dismissing, denying, and minimising to justify their actions or make excuses; they can use convoluted discussions; blocking, evading, and deflecting anything that may expose their real intentions and motivations.
Word salad. Kamala is like a walking cliche’, ambulating dissembler of language, lawyer with no ethical or moral foundation, meets soulless automaton. What is your plan for the border Kamala? Paraphrasing, ‘Every nation needs a border, the work is at hand that we are doing within the law, because the law is important and we all know the work that needs to be done, within the law, because it is important to have a border; and if not for Republicans and Trump there would be no border controversy.’ Translation: I am going to let in ten million illiterate military aged male migrants a year while blaming Republicans for not signing a bill that allows ten million illiterate military aged male migrants in, and change the law to make them all citizens, enough to make America a one-party state like California.
‘paramoralisms’: this is the attack on the process, qualifications, experience and integrity of professionals who challenge them; by attempts at diminishing, degrading, disempowering, and discrediting those individuals.
Anyone who questions Kamala (and Democrats, media and Government) is a misogynist, racist, bigot, xeno-trans-phobe nazi or nazi adjacent and a spreader of disinformation destroyer of democracy needing to be censored.
‘projection’: the psychopath accuses a victim of their own nefarious deeds (otherwise known as ‘reverse attribution’), attributing their own evil to the hapless victim.
“Donald Trump will destroy democracy, destroy the institutions of democracy, he will use the Department of Justice and lawfare to go after his political enemies and he will start WWIII. MAGA is domestic terrorism.”
Speaking of terrorism, I recall Kamala celebrating, defending and helping the people who torched Minneapolis (while I lived there), causing half a billion dollars of damage, burning many minority-owned businesses, making parts of the city look like bombed-out Syria.
They have built a censorship cartel to lean on and force social media to silence Americans who question the government Dems and Kamala, threatening to torch the Constitution, use lawfare to destroy anyone who they believe threatens them particularly Trump, and have inflamed the possibility of WWIII and Nuclear War in Ukraine and Israel.
Kamala claimed on The View, she would change nothing about the course of the Biden/Harris Administration the last four years.
Some of the above are also ‘reversive blockades’, such as when a psychopath will deny doing something, blame another for something he has done, or lie about a perceived enemy.
Republicans are at fault for 10-20mil people crossing the border during the Biden/Harris Administration. Republicans would be at fault for the 30-50mil who would cross the border during a Harris/Walz administration. Trump is at fault for FEMA paying to house Migrants during the Biden/Harris Administration. Right wing extremists (and locals on the ground) are responsible for spreading lies and disinformation about FEMA response to Hurricane Helene and the fact that we spent disaster money on housing migrants.
For four years every time the Administration felt pressure about some failed policy, they blamed it on Trump. Trump is Hitler. Trump is a Nazi. Trump is going to round up his political enemies and kill them. He is a mortal treat to America and Democracy. They blame Trump and Republicans for “stochastic terrorism” even as they have twice now inflamed potential assassins who tried to kill Trump.
Trump is going to destroy democracy, even as everything the regime does is to subvert, pervert, undermine and otherwise demolish democracy/turn America into a totalitarian State.
occasionally, gently challenges me to recognize, some people are genuinely bad, sociopathic narcissists and psychopaths, with ill intent. He claims the whole society now is cluster-B abusive, at every institutional level public and private. The schools are training little narcissists. Local government can’t be questioned, claiming any criticism is hate speech and needs to be silenced. Corporations have forced out conservatives and free thinkers, anyone willing to question the status quo woke/trans ideology. Media is a vicious abusive smothering Mother, ala Joan Crawford as portrayed in Mommy Dearest.Regardless of the social scale, the same tactics are used: at the workplace, in the home, in the media, in big corporations, local councils or school boards, and so on.
Kamala is the adopted leader of all of this, her persona is a false front; that she will not do serious interviews or press conferences is because she would be revealed as pathologically touchy, incapable of being questioned, collapsing into emotional dis-regulation and word salad discombobulation/blaming as defense.
Most of these manipulation tactics are designed to elicit maladaptive responses. The human dynamic at play here is this: we all have natural tendencies that, in ordinary circumstances, are useful. We give people the benefit of the doubt; it’s hard to believe that everyone is lying all the time, and life would be impossibly complex if that were the case. We also respond to certain threats with fear or violence—also essential to our personal and collective survival. However, each of these natural reactions can be elicited by deception. We can be made to trust untrustworthy people, or to fear or attack trustworthy ones.
The maladaptive response on the left to all this manipulation is to not be able to tell the difference between a man and a woman, letting men into girls bathrooms, locker-rooms and prisons. It is celebrating the sterilization and mutilation of children in the name of gender therapy. It is to deny the theft, murder, rape and terror perpetrated by some immigrants by saying things like “no human is illegal,” or calling all illegal immigrants “undocumented.” It is incentivizing crime by not holding criminals accountable while defunding and disparaging law enforcement. It is claiming to be about love, diversity, inclusion, anti-racism and community, while practicing open racism and hate speech against white people generally but especially white men. They have made abortion on demand at any time for any reason the be-all, end-all of women’s rights. It was the entire Covid episode, lies and manipulations top to bottom, literal murder by protocol to sustain the official narrative. And of course it is calling anyone who questions any of this names and threatening and actively attempting to silence/cancel them.
Kamala is like the avatar of all of this.
Psychopaths are experts in human behavior and are masters at such manipulation. Without any internal constraint they can freely and deliberately create confusion and chaos; create a contrived sense of deep connection; elicit sympathy by pretending to be the victim; weaponize the justice system; ingratiate themselves to people in power; create and capitalize on divisiveness; manufacture public and private provocation; elicit a sense of obligation by doing things to secure leverage – all with unabashed virtuosity.
As
is fond of pointing out, Democrats are the party of chaos. America was well on the way to race and gender equality, but especially after 2016 Democrats instead chose to inflame race and gender grievances, and make victims and oppressors of everybody. They have weaponized the justice system with civil rights law, they are destroying every ethical and moral norm and boundary, while vastly expanding the scope of federal law and laws generally. Pretending to be the victim, or represent the victim, they have elevated the weak and torn down the strong, incentivizing wickedness. Everything they do seems a provocation, to elicit a violent response from MAGA, to give them a reason to bring the martial law-hammer down. They celebrate debauchery to the point of normalizing pederasty. With all of this, they cloak themselves in the raiment of virtue, as the protectors of sacred democracy, of being at the leading edge of the arc of herstorical justice, of being moral arbiters of Absolute Truth.These are all exploitations of normal human responses that are otherwise harmless or helpful. You could say that psychopaths turn human nature against itself.
It is all an attempt to destroy Western civilization, destroy America and depopulate. The whole project of the left at this point is like self and societal abnegation, we are encouraged to hate America.
Or we were, until stopping on the proverbial dime, at the Democrat convention, and now Kamala, it’s all about “we love our country!” We went from, America is the worst country ever, to America and Kamala are all joy and love bubbles, America is the most wonderful place (except for those lying hitlerputintrumpers), just like that. That kind of switch is mass psychosis.
It is not necessarily translating into election success.
Psychopaths may be rapists, serial killers, paedophiles, abusive partners, and the like. But not all of them are lawbreakers. The intelligent ones, with a good degree of self-control, may be politicians, lawyers, doctors, priests, or professors. They cunningly cultivate a likable persona for the world, while making the lives of their targets miserable. What they all have in common are certain personality traits, and a set of manipulative, predatory tactics that they use to get what they want.
The people of America are the least healthy, mentally, physically and spiritually, of perhaps any people in the history of the world. That has trickled down from the leadership of America, “politicians, lawyers, doctors, priests [and] professors.” Life in America is increasingly miserable for people, as a direct result of the policies of Institutions public and private, of DC, Wall Street and the media. Pretty much everything they say and do now is a manipulation, a gaslight, trying to convince you, you are the crazy one that you would dare question any of this.2
In conclusion, I don’t know if Kamala is a psychopath, though I think she is a sociopathic narcissist easily manipulated by psychopaths who have metastasized like cancer cells in the body politic. She absolutely is the empty shell, the scarecrow pantsuit of the Deep State which is psychopathic, anti-human.
But then, she is all ego striving after power, willing to do and say anything to get it.
While I know Michael Shellenberger has read and celebrated the book Political Ponerology, neither he nor the good doctor Marty Makary were willing to say, despite the lies of covid and the people harmed, maimed and killed by Covid protocols, of the children killed by medical profession-induced peanut allergies, of the many women who died prematurely because of false-doctrine about Hormone Replacement Therapy causing breast cancer, that maybe the answer at the elite level is psychopaths, getting off making people suffer, harming people, killing people?

I'm not sure she's a psychopath but give her time as head of state and I suspect we'll see those feature emerge. From what I've seen, she's a protected puppet going through the motions. An empty shell doing her puppeteer's bidding. She says nothing substantive nor does she seem to care, smirking at the camera.
