[post too long for email]
Many readers will be familiar with Jonathan M, Katz @
, in The Atlantic, Substack Has a Nazi Problem, the article kicking off the recent attempt to put Substack under State control like Alphabet and Meta (I don’t know what the W is supposed to be but you could replace it with Substack.)That Article dropped just after Thanksgiving on Nov 28. Jonathan claimed to have found 16 sites that had Nazi content, though he was not very specific.
weighed in Dec 12. went public with an open letter to Substack, Dec 13, for writers to sign, asking Substack to support free speech. To date, something like 700 Substack writers have signed it, myself included.organized a letter for people to sign, to force Substack to cancel nazis, going public Dec 14. About 200 Substack writers have signed it.Known pederast supporter Noah Berlatsky @
, who also writes for The Atlantic, jumped into the fray Dec 18.This was one of the finer takedowns of the censors.
One of the founders,
, stepped in Dec 21 and made it clear Substack is a free speech zone, there will be no censoring Substack writers. The pressure did not stop though.
Substack, and weighed in Jan 05.But then the heavy hitter
and , with 171,000 subs, affiliated with the New York Times, leaned on Substack, threatening to leave Substack, and claimed Substack agreed to cancel 5 nazis, Jan 08. But Newton also made it clear, this is about more than nazis, this is about covid dissent too, among other examples of wrong speech needing the nazi treatment.Substack cancelling five “nazis” left blood in the water. The very next day, Insight Monitor,
and expanded the Narrative from 16 nazis and five nazis, to:Nazis on Substack might make millions of dollars per year, with some creators making hundreds of thousands of dollars
Substack itself probably makes hundreds of thousands of dollars per year on Nazi content
Substack’s algorithm creates a network of Nazi substacks by recommending similar content
They hid all of their methodology behind a paywall. There is no way to find out how they came to this conclusion unless they are paid. Suffice to say, their definition of “nazi” is very broad, like just about anyone a half inch right of Bernie Sanders. Katz had to strain to come up with 16 sites, most of which had almost no readership. Suffice to say, Insight Monitor is simply making it up. But in the fight to save democracy, as we have seen since the election of Trump, anything goes and nothing matters, by any means necessary.
Jessica Davis is a spook. Insight Montior is a contractor for spooks.
dropped this in one of my notes.Notes from the End of Time with Kenaz Filan
From insightthreatintel.com/about
Jessica spent the first 17 years of her career in the Canadian security and intelligence business, starting in the Canadian Forces, and then transitioning to roles at Global Affairs Canada, FINTRAC (Canada’s financial intelligence unit), and the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS). Jessica left CSIS in 2018 in order to share her knowledge more broadly, enhance the Canadian dialogue on security issues, and bring new perspectives to efforts to counter illicit financing. Jessica is an associate fellow the Royal United Services Institute, a visiting senior fellow with the Soufan Center, and and a senior associate with CSIS.
“This one glows in the dark,” he said.
So that is where we are at. I don’t remember who pointed this out, someone on Substack, that the danger is Substack becomes publicly known as a haven for nazis, much like OnlyFans has become publicly known as a haven for sex workers, even though most of the content on OnlyFans is not sex work. Except, unlike OnlyFans, this would be a haven for nazis with hardly any nazis evidently.
Jessica Davis and Insight Monitor prove there is nothing the “anti-nazis” will not say, to put Substack under the proverbial boot. The New York Times, Business Insider, etc main stream media outlets picked up the original Katz/Atlantic piece, advancing the argument. Now the Industrial Censorship Complex is involved. There doesn’t need to be any actual nazis, they will simple expand the argument as egregiously as they like, make up whatever information they want, outright lie, repeat it 10,000x10,000xs.
If Fascism is the unholy alliance between the State, Media, Corporations and spooks-for-hire to silence everything but the Official Narrative, what are a few idiot nazi cosplayers with next to no readership, on Substack? Substack is growing quite fast, it is a bastion of intelligence, of open and productive dialogue, and clear dissent against the official narrative in every detail, while most major media is in decline with less and less reach. The American people no longer trust the Official Narrative on much of anything, on balance, and the State is going full fascist authoritarian with the help of myriad social justice useful idiots, and a generalized liberal Trump derangement syndrome, to silence dissent.
The only thing to do is keep writing, keep speaking out, keep sharing, keep shining light on that which is attempting to close out the light.
Feel free to share any other writers who are taking this on, in the comments.
When I hear about them wanting to silence "medical misinformation" I think of the children suffering damaged hearts from those "safe and effective" shots. I have met some.
May God visit the blood of all the innocent little ones on their heads. May propagandists like Katz and Davis suffer the consequences of their own lies and be caught in the trap they have set for others.
“There is no way to find out how they came to this conclusion unless they are paid. “
No guarantee they share the cross tabs even if you pay.
I postulated that Santa Clause *might* deliver billions of presents to good children all over the globe in one night, but it’s impossible to know for sure, because no one knows how fast 8 tiny reindeer can fly, and Santa isn’t talking.
This fairytale has exactly the same problems.
These are the same people who will tell you, with shining eyes, that 80 million people voted for Joe Biden, and that the 2020 election was the most transparent election, evah.
