Calm Amidst the Storm
The end of election 2024 is nigh, but not the end of troubles
I have been relatively quiet this late election season, here on substack. I was energized early on until recently, less excited about another Trump presidency than fearful of another round of Clinton/Obama/Biden in the form of Kamala. Trump at least is the possibility of a course change; Kamala represents something like Nick Land’s accelerationism, if you are into that, hastening the end of America as we have known it, the descent into a much deeper woke/trans dystopia unto the collapse of the American empire and the dollar, potentially as a means of rebirth - though not necessarily, perhaps leading to a dark age.
I find myself less exercised, more calm, as the moment approaches, the end of this election season. Part of that is simply not knowing and being ok with that: it could be an historic, overwhelming Trump win; it could be a painful, drawn out process of not knowing; it could be a resounding Kamala and Dem win across the country. Ok, those last two options are not really on the table without epic cheating unlike anything we have seen in America. I’ve no doubt the anti-hitler people are justifying any and every undemocratic, authoritarian thing. According to elizabeth nickson it is much worse than that, though the right is much more prepared to deal with it this time.
Still I find myself relaxed, ready for anything. There is no anxiety, I cannot effect any serious change at this point, there is only waiting. Whatever happens, happens, as that pithy saying goes. There is no point in freaking out about some outcome we cannot know. Probably if one is heavily and desperately invested in a particular outcome, if it should not go your way that seems a recipe for mental breakdown.
Whatever happens with the election, I expect things to clarify. It is something like a sea change regardless, it is only a question of the character, or lack there-of, about that change. Nothing would be more clear than a resounding Kamala and Dem win, which would entail a raving maniac minority (pardon the pun) of Americans having seized power by distinctly undemocratic means, going about demolishing America with zeal and abandon. The mental state of many a Democrat is not stable at the moment. These people are not to be trusted with power. They are only really capable of chaos and destruction.
I will admit, I will feel an immense sense of relief if Trump wins overwhelmingly. I don’t assume Trump is necessarily going to right the ship of State, it would simply represent to me, Americans choosing sense over the insanity and cultural suicide that is the Democrat party “platform.” Obviously there is an element within the Republican establishment that is nearly as mad as the Democrats, only in a different way, desperate to initiate WWIII, to loot the treasury on the way to some absolute power, digital currency total information control. Many rank and file Republicans are mere materialists, Make America Great Again representing some restoration of retrograde conspicuous consumerism. Even a Trump win could prove just some weak attempt to restore what cannot be restored, leading to more of the status quo decline and fall.

The AWFL/Karen dominated State Supreme Court recently asserted, if someone comes at you with a deadly weapon in public, your first duty is to retreat. In fact, you have to attempt to retreat before you brandish a weapon. If you brandish a weapon without attempting to retreat first, even if you don’t use the weapon, even if the attacker runs away because you threatened to defend yourself, you can be charged with a “Second Degree Felony - Fear.” Simply by scaring the attacker you can be charged with a FELONY.
So yeah, these people hate you and don’t care if you are assaulted by criminals and killed.
They especially don’t care if the STATE assaults you and kills you. You have absolutely no right to defend yourself even in your home, if the STATE decides they are going to send in a swat team, no matter how “cruel and unusual” the reason.
The State is truly out of control.
And so, while our furry little prankster’s body is dead, the soul lives on and on. His jokes don’t quite write themselves, but they aren’t wholly authored by his admirers either. There’s something in the air, all around us. We might as well call it magic, since we have yet to come up with a better name.
There is the chance, with a rejuvenated Trump Administration filled with people truly loyal to the cause of “draining the swamp”, the draw-down of the power of centralized Washington DC could commence, that and the managerial/technocratic state at every level. That would be historic, it is desperately needed, and it is going to take more than the four years Trump would have. If there is anything like such a restoration of first principles - small government, accountability/merit, decentralization - it could be collapse of the Clinton/Obama/Biden coalition, neo-liberalism and neo-conservatism, which could be a very creative and fertile period in the American story. It would take a generation.
Though, as vicious as the left has been the last eight years, as unprincipled. immoral, unethical and destructive as they have been, we can certainly expect them to sabotage Trump and America with prejudice if they lose. The deep state has clearly signaled in myriad ways, anything is on the table to prevent their losing power. It has been anything goes and nothing matters since 2016, I don’t know how they could go any lower but you can be sure they will. They might very well be at the point, steal the election outright, laugh in our faces, ‘what are you garbage people going to do about it?’
Whatever the case, I think we all know, real change is afoot. I’ve been saying since 2008 and the collapse of the credit market, those who are honest about circumstances will be most ready and prepared to deal with whatever circumstances arise. A lot of this madness of late is not having done what needed to be done in 2008, make an example of a few of the worst, send the message that a new era has begun. We were not ready to initiate a new era back then. We may be now. That is some of where my calm comes from.
A political storm is raging and will rage for awhile yet; the next three months are going to be very wild indeed, whatever happens.
Relax, manage your breath, look honestly at the world as it is and be like the calm before, in the eye and after the storm.

unfunded liabiltiies. UNFUNDED LIABILITIES ARE REAL DEBT. that means $600,000 for every baby, child, and adult in america. a family of four owes $2.4 million. THAT IS OUR DEBT.
