Chud 'n Chad
A tale of two Minnesota boys, on the knife edge between past and future: Jake Sullivan and Pete Hegseth
Born, raised and living in Minnesota, I have taken some interest in two of our favored Minnesota boys. Men now, of course (at least one of them), long since having left Minnesota not particularly eager to return. The Chud, has had a significant impact on American foreign policy for more than a decade, while the Chad hopefully is about to, if there is any justice.
Behold, Chud ‘n Chad
For those not aware of the lingo, Chud is chan-speak for a pasty know-it-all with more confidence than competence and not a little bit of malice, while Chad is chan-speak for good looking, intelligent all-American, likes women, has a bunch of kids and is excellent at whatever he applies himself to.
The Chud is Jake Sullivan, Hillary Clinton protege/wunderkind, deputy assistant to Obama, National Security Advisor for Joe Biden as VP and then as President. From Wikipedia, he sounds like a really smart guy, until you consider the state of the world and American prospects while he has been such a keen part of America’s neoliberal ruling elite, with “a role in shaping the policy in Libya, Syria and Myanmar”, Iran nuclear policy, russiagate, the disasters in Ukraine and Gaza, threatening WWIII, the bringing together of Russia and China and the rise of BRICS.
“Jacob Jeremiah Sullivan (born November 28, 1976) is an American attorney serving since 2021 as the U.S. National Security Advisor. He previously served as Director of Policy to President Barack Obama, National Security Advisor to then-Vice President Biden and Deputy Chief of Staff to Secretary Hillary Clinton at the U.S. Department of State. Sullivan also served as senior advisor to the U.S. federal government at the Iran nuclear negotiations and senior policy advisor to Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign, as well as visiting professor at Yale Law School. On November 23, 2020, President-elect Biden announced that Sullivan would be appointed the United States National Security Advisor. He took office on January 20, 2021.
Early life and education
“Sullivan was born in Burlington, Vermont, to a family of Irish descent[1] and grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota.[2][3] His father worked for the Star Tribune and was a professor at the University of Minnesota School of Journalism and Mass Communication, and his mother was a high school guidance counselor.[2] Sullivan attended Southwest High School in Minneapolis, where he graduated in 1994. He was a Coca-Cola Scholar, debate champion, president of the student council, and voted "most likely to succeed" in his class.[4]
“Educated in the United States and United Kingdom, Sullivan first attended Yale University, where he majored in international studies and political science and was awarded the Alpheus Henry Snow Prize.[5][3] He was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa his senior year and graduated summa cum laude with distinction in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts.[5][6] Sullivan won a Rhodes Scholarship[7] to attend Magdalen College, Oxford, where he studied international relations.[5][8] He was also awarded a Marshall Scholarship, which he declined in favor of the Rhodes.[5] While at Oxford, Sullivan served as a managing editor of the Oxford International Review.[7] He graduated with a Master of Philosophy.[3] He graduated with a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School in 2003.[6] He is a member, and former board member, of the Truman National Security Project.
“At Yale, he was an editor of the Yale Law Journal, the Yale Law & Policy Review, and the Yale Daily News. He interned at the Council on Foreign Relations, was a member of the Yale Debate Association and earned a Truman Scholarship in his junior year.[5][9] He also worked for Brookings Institution president Strobe Talbott at the Yale Center for the Study of Globalization.[10]”
While Jake Sullivan has made a living making wars for other people to fight, Pete Hegseth came of age fighting them. While Chud was “most likely to succeed,” Chad was Valedictorian. Chud was in debate, Chad played football and basketball in High School and basketball in college. Chud went to Yale and Oxford, Chad to Princeton, Harvard and the National Guard.
According to Michael Caputo, in an article on Matt Taibbi’s The Racket, about the long list of people ruined and destroyed by the Russia gate hoax, “was created by Hillary Clinton aide Jake Sullivan, who carries on with his lies today as President Joe Biden’s national security advisor.”
The usual suspects are out trying to torch Pete Hegseth. They deserve no quarter.
Wikipedia, being a deep state, intelligence community propaganda outlet, is absolutely brutal in their assessment of Chad, not surprisingly. They practically fawn over and lionize the Chud. Chad is a dad, Chud is not.
Peter Brian Hegseth (/ˈhɛɡsɛθ/; born June 6, 1980) is an American television presenter, author, and former Army National Guard officer. President-elect Donald Trump has announced his intention to nominate Hegseth to serve as United States secretary of defense in his second cabinet.
A political commentator for Fox News since 2014 and weekend co-host of Fox & Friends from 2017 to 2024, he was previously the executive director of Vets for Freedom and Concerned Veterans for America.
Hegseth has been active in conservative and Republican politics since his undergraduate days at Princeton University. As a national guardsman he served at Guantánamo Bay and in Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2016, he emerged as a supporter of Donald Trump's presidential candidacy, and he served as an occasional advisor to Trump throughout the latter's first term as president. Following Hegseth's encouragement, in 2019 Trump pardoned three soldiers accused or convicted of war crimes. Hegseth was considered to lead the United States Department of Veterans Affairs in the first Trump administration, but David Shulkin was tapped instead.
On November 12, 2024, Trump said Hegseth would be his nominee for United States secretary of defense.
Early life and education
Hegseth was born on June 6, 1980, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Brian, a basketball coach, and Penny Hegseth.[1][2][3] He was raised in nearby Forest Lake[4] and is of Norwegian descent on both sides of the family.[5] He attended Forest Lake Area High School, where he played football and basketball, graduating in 1999 as valedictorian of his class.
Hegseth went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts in politics at Princeton University in 2003.[6][7] While there, he wrote for The Princeton Tory magazine and became its publisher.[8] As publisher, he published another student's commentary that sex with an unconscious woman was not rape since there was no duress.[8] [my bold, to remind the reader how specious and not at all on the level wikipedia is. This poison pill is presented as fact, linked to an article in The New Yorker, which gets it’s information from another source they do not even link to, so no proof that this happened is ever given. Like most of The New Yorker hit piece, it is hearsay presented like it is evidence in a court of law, a typical leftist, deep state smear tactic. Probably half of the wikipedia site about Hegseth is similar slander.]
Hegseth also played basketball for the Tigers under coach John Thompson III.[9][10] Their team made the NCAA tournament in 2001.[11][12]
In 2013, he received a Master of Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.[13]
Military career
Early career
While at Princeton, Hegseth joined the Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps in 2001.[8] After graduating from Princeton in 2003, Hegseth joined Bear Stearns as an equity capital markets analyst and was also commissioned as an infantry officer in the Minnesota National Guard.[14] In 2004, his unit was called to Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, under the operational control of the 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, of the 101st Airborne Division, where he served as an infantry platoon leader and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal. Shortly after returning from Cuba, Hegseth volunteered to serve in Baghdad and Samarra, Iraq, where he served first as an infantry platoon leader and later as civil-military operations officer. During his time in Iraq, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, and a second Army Commendation Medal.[15][citation needed]
Wikipedia is like ChatGPT, essentially a propaganda bullhorn for the deep state, airing all the real and fake, made-up dirty laundry of Chad, but only speaking glowingly of all the great accomplishments of glorious Chud. Hegseth has been married three times, he was not faithful to his first two wives. Chud again is good at making wars other people have to fight, Chad actually fought, and came back obviously a bit of a mess, which is typical of men who live through combat. Some men don’t make it back even if they make it back, they lose themselves in drugs and alcohol, not a few end up on the street. Hegseth claims now to have a relationship with Jesus, he seems a man of integrity, and he is very passionate about reforming the military, which for America’s sake, is in desperate need of reform. He has been through the fire and emerged stronger for it, which is the hero’s journey. Chuds, feminists, progressives and genderbenders hate Hegseth because he is critical of DEI, Woke, Trans and Islam, and of course because he is a Chad.
Substacker and Army Major
speaks highly of Pete Hegseth:If Pete Hegseth ends up taking over for Lloyd Austin early next year, I’m optimistic about what he might accomplish for a DOD struggling amidst a widespread and warranted loss of trust in the institution. I won’t address any of the arguments being made across mainstream outlets that this is a terrible/dangerous/unprecedented nomination. They’re all made in bad faith as Chris Bray explains so clearly. Instead, I’ll focus on what I think he can do for the organization given three key recognitions he made in his recent discussion with Shawn Ryan1:
The military COVID vaccine mandate was a mistake that functionally purged military members of conscience from the ranks.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training and programs are counterproductive and need to go along with leaders who promoted them.
The Global War On Terror (GWOT) didn’t translate to improved security for the American people, especially the invasion of Iraq.
Here is that piece Grant mentioned from
Hegseth has also published five books:
Which is not to say Pete Hegseth is golden, as he is not very skeptical of Israel, and he sounds a bit like a neocon every time he talks about China. His hearing in the Senate is going to be Kavenaugh squared. But compared to Chud neoliberal globalist wokester Jake Sullivan, protege of Hillary Clinton, who’s legacy in part is open air slave markets in Libya, who literally has us at the precipice of WWIII, after they got demolished in the last election? There is also this:
As it has been neoliberal, globalist policy across the West to open the borders, Syrians to Europe, in America’s case, for any murderer, rapist, terrorist or cartel to cross, minimum ten million mostly military aged males the last four years, while Jake Sullivan was the National Security Adviser - it begs the question, is there an email out there, or was there, Chud saying basically the same thing he says here about Al Qaida, ‘See last Item - The Mexican Cartels are on our side moving people across the border.’
Of course too, what role did Chud have in authorizing the bombing of the Nordstream 2 pipeline, or the post-election escalation of the Ukrainian “proxy” war allowing Ukraine to fire ATACMs missiles into Russia, guided by Americans? Ukraine being one of the Biden family honeypots, a honeypot for a lot of American elite, has Jake Sullivan been reaching into that jar? Speaking of Chuds, did you know Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Sec of State Anthony Blinken were partnered in a company prior to 2020, connecting military contractors with military contracts, WestExec? Remember how Biden kept saying, most of that Ukraine money is staying here, to pay weapons contractors? They have been busy blowing up the basis of the dollar, more than anything, the chuds. Loot while you can, before the shit goes sideways and all hell breaks loose?
It is probably a good thing I am not running the country, because I would probably say to Chud Sullivan, you can take a bullet, go to federal prison for the rest of your days, or never step foot in America again. See how merciful I am?
Anyway, Hegseth Chad. Iowa Senator Jodi Ernst, combat veteran, signaled she supports him. The Senate establishment seems to have moved on to oppose Tulsi Gabbard, because she objected to deep state, CIA/USAID shenanigans in Syria.
It will be no small thing, undoing even half the damage the Clinton/Obama/Biden coalition has done to America. God speed, Chad. You are going to need it to help Trump reform national security, the military, demolish the deep state and restore something of the promise of America.
It's a pretty stark assessment of two men who couldn't be much more different. I believe in Physiognomy. My gut instinct is how I make my judgement. I'd love to have a beer and talk to Pete. Jake just seems weak and like he can speak volumes on wine or the intersection of homosexuality and Marxism. Might be a low bar and judgemental thinking but it's served me well in the recent years once I drove out the liberal hogwash with which I was indoctrinated.
"It is probably a good thing I am not running the country, because I would probably say to Chud Sullivan, you can take a bullet, go to federal prison for the rest of your days, or never step foot in America again. See how merciful I am?"
I believe that most Americans would actually agree with your perspective regarding the latter part. And I would be okay with you running the country too
Regarding the confirmation hearings of the Trump appointed cabinets -, screw that noise and simply do what Biden does and skip it. Because I didn't recall the Chuds' of the Clinton-O'Biden administrations being confirmed either. Or that they were televised for any sort of Media - Public Opinions like They did with the supreme Court nominees during the Trump administration. 🧐
