That’s a lot of interesting stuff. I was raised Lutheran, and spent 4 decades traveling through atheism, agnosticism, and Buddhism. I have gone full circle, and have now joined a great Lutheran church here in Texas. Yes, people take our western civilization and America for granted. I recently met a 48 year old Christian man, a fellow Republican precinct chair, from Nigeria. He became a US citizen at 41. He told me exactly that-that Americans don’t know how good they have it. Agreed. The midterms are very important.
I think Democrats focusing on hating Trump, conservatives and America is not working out well for them, as hatred rarely does. Aside from commies winning primaries in NY, the treatment of repulsive Scott Weiner in California by trans activists is a harbinger of the dem party civil war. See @Chris Bray’s last two posts.
I was in the woods at the family 80 two days ago. There is plenty of stagnant water in the wetlands. Typically, the woods are almost intolerable this time of year, there are so many mosquitos.
I did not see one mosquito. Humanity is in no way prepared for the change that is upon us.
Mosquitos or lack of them is as they say, is but a “the tip of the iceberg” in the bigger scheme of things. The shifts that are happening are monumental, the biggest is shift from the focus on the outside world (and circumstances and situations that we cannot control) as the source of all our troubles, to a shift to more inner responsibility of how how we show up in life, with focus on ourselves and creating communities of like minded/kindred spirits. No longer putting faith in an outside source as a way out of anything.
True enough. We can no longer rely on institutions and their experts. Increasingly the only things that will matter are family, friends, community and material assets.
Pollinator collapse was the tip of the iceberg. Mosquito’s however are a fundamental base of the total food chain. Mass starvation is more destabilizing than war.

Saturn, particularly in the House of Aries, does not ask, lol. You either get with the program or suffer the consequences.
I see this a lot in astrology, dominated by women for women, too careful sometimes trying not to be offensive the language turns into milksop, and every assessment ends up sounding the same. That said, I subscribed though, and followed her on Spotify.

It’s interesting that the ‘audience‘ for these female astrologers consists of mostly women. Very few men (heterosexual) seem to be interested in tarot, astrology or the “occult arts”. Women seem to be more open to what’s not working in their lives and are seeking change, a different life.
Very few men I know that are in my age cohort, (70’s) are into these subjects. They are watching sports and following MSM on Tee Vee, drinking beer or cocktails, getting high on cannabis and are on a plethora of prescription meds and drugs.
A lot of boomer men are re-living their coddled childhood, absolving themselves of any responsibility for the world, America and family. A lot of boomer women too though. While they tend to be more open to occult thinking, many female boomers gravitate toward new age slop to justify their sense of self-righteousness, believing they are at the leading edge of evolution.
My favorite astrologer is Liz Greene, who’s older books at least are considerably more conservative than your typical astrological work, critical of liberal new agey excess. I don’t know how she has handled the shift to woke.
Not all boomers are self-indulgent of course. There is always a cohort of people of every age who embrace change and actively facilitate it. My own readership seems to have a good balance of men and women, who I take to have a much thicker skin and a good deal more sense than the typical American.
I know of Liz Greene. I have had numerous “printed” personal astrology and astrologically compatible profile readings from her from Astro.com over the course of many years.
I never went for the “new age slop” especially the self indulgent ”bliss ninnies” out there, (regardless of their age). Remember I am from Commifornia where there are plenty “new age bliss ninnies” out here!
They were never grounded in reality, nor willing to take responsibility for the personal crap. (That goes for the men as well.)
That’s why I like Molly McCord, who I found late last year.
The ‘shift’ that is happening astrologically now, will have a serious impact on us all, and for me likely the rest of my lifetime. Some will “wake up” and do the work that it takes to embrace this new timeline. Others will remain clueless and likely just walk off the cliff when told to do so. Because those C*v*D Jabs that people ran to get, are the cause of the everyday zombies now walking among us.
Zombies are interesting. I am seeing/interacting with more and more of them. Their behavior is increasingly perplexing, or maybe not. So much autism (Toby Roger's elaborates) to start with. Maybe the latest round of jabs have really pushed them over the edge. Their movements, repetitive behaviors, lack of ability to attend to environments/events is bizarre. Maybe I am no different. Even the 'normies' have become "everyday zombies." When the shit hits the fan, as you allude to, I may be just as lost as to how to navigate the world. 🤔
The “now normies” are your everyday folks who always watched Tee Vee, were faithful participants in the Modern Medical System (likely due to the injuries and chronic health conditions they suffered from all the vaccines and meds that they were given), and they fell for the PsyOp CovidCon fear porn messaging about this boogey man virus labeled as “C*V*D and ran to get the shots. Or caved and got them when their employers ‘mandated’ that they get them. The ‘new zombiefied normies’ range from the Boomers (who are still alive) on down to kids.
It’s a sad, sad situation. And all funded and brought to you by Big Pharma, Big Government, and Big Three Letter Intelligence Agencies!
