Gonna be lit as NYC starts to devolve into an approximation of John Carpenter’s “Escape from New York” city. It won’t be an actual prison, but those still living there will feel like it is.
Every time I see a picture of the place I think, glad I’m not there. And then I feel bad, thinking about what it must feel like to be trapped there…but not that bad because most of them could have voted but the vast majority did not.
And thanks for the nod at what is being shuffled out as "The Odyessey". I've been following the shit show for weeks now and it's release hasn't done a thing to dissuade me from my belief that it is manufactured to deconstruct and destroy western myth and archetype- black magic psy-op, if you will. It's sad and a bit frightening to see so many wave it away saying, "it's just fiction, it's just a myth." No. it isn't. The original is full of foundational symbolism and esotericism. It is a foundational work of our culture, a heavy part of our cultural subconscious and it's deliberate bastardization in surround sound IMAX is an attack on people's minds.
Training the illiterate that the West has always been multicultural globalist, to accept infinty migrants into the West. Christopher Nolan et al Hollywood encouraging the rape and plunder of the West. Rumor has it too, the contract is a form of embezzlement, written such that parent company Comcast and their investors will not make a dime until it makes a billion dollars, all the profit hoovered up by Nolan, a few of the stars and the producers.
Which is why parent company comcast is review-bombing on Rotten Tomatoes and censoring critisism- which is bringing more attention to other times they've done such things, ala Striesand effect. I keep hoping a 'payola'-style scandal breaks out sooner or later.
The interesting thing is that this time, there are a number of internet journalists of all stripes (albeit many are coming out of the gaming/comic/anime/etc field) who have been calling it all out, having seen this happen repeatedly over the last decade or so. It will be interesting to see how this pans out.
IMO, this will be a 'Pyrhrric Victory' for the studios, etc at best. A lot of normies are getting exposed to the sausage factory and I'm not sure this maneuver will work again.
I dealt with so much wicked corona bologna in Southern California that it eventually caused me to move to a Red State in Appalachia in 2022. I have never been back and doubt if I ever will. My son still lives there. I hope someday he will appreciate all I went through to keep those shots out of his arm.
