Back in 1776 and 1789, Gouvernour Morris had similar thoughts. He was a member of the old Mayflower elite, and his brother Robert was the major funder of 1776. Gouvernour saw what was coming, tried to prevent it, and failed. He then went to Paris where he also saw what was coming, tried to prevent it, and failed. Morris had some choice insights on the leaders of both revolutions. Robespierre and Tom Paine were cut from the same toxic cloth.

That was a curious link. I tend to be fond of both rights and duty, depending on the context. I would also not totally be in line with the idea that the American Revolution brought only tyranny and ruin, at least not in the immediate aftermath. I would also not entirely condemn the concept of revolution, as I am not sure what else can upend a state of total tyranny? Also I would not call Bill Gates a warrior to defend against Soros, but rather more like Soros' reflection.

I am not so much against a revolution, as I am wary that revolution would turn into a civil war bloodbath.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.

(Easier said than done but I believe and that gives me strength because there is no alternative in the face of evil)

Another great article William Hunter Duncan!

"...prepare, be patient, be ready, the path will be revealed as you take each step."

I love it, I'm doing it, and I'm advocating for others to embrace it!

"That will be the focus of this Substack in 2024 ... "

Good to start the year with a clear statement of intent. Looking forward to useful meaty commentary.

From you and your commenters. I think they call that the "wisdom of crowds".

Tiedrich is suffering from a virulent combination of TDS, Asperger’s and Tourette’s. Toss in a 90IQ and there he is.

I cannot imagine what the surface of his mic looks like.
