Happy New Year, 2025!

My best to you and yours in this new year, and a few predictions

One positive thing I can imagine for 2025 is that we don’t have to go through another Presidential election this year.

When I wrote my predictions for 2024, which were not very specific but mostly outlining likely trends, I was reasonably accurate, though I did not give much thought to what it might feel like if Trump did win the Presidency. Even a few liberals breathed a sigh of relief, feeling like the trans/woke cancel regime no longer reigns supreme. It was the most positive political development in my lifetime, even as it threatens to disintegrate even before the inaugural. If one thing the modern right cannot seem to get together is how to effectively take and control power. Running a country is so much more difficult than complaining about those who do, but mere complaining can be very lucrative too.

And oh boy, did we have a lot to complain about, and how lucrative have been the last four years, what with all that Covid funny money! Well, for the investor class anyway. For the rest of us of course, runaway inflation.

Now that the right controls the Legislature, Senate, the Presidency and the Supreme Court, one might think they might maintain something like focus on the possibilities, rather than descend into petty squabbling, battles of ego and stupid purity games. It is almost like we miss just complaining.

Of course it is not outside the realm of possibility the deep state might cancel the Trump presidency yet. I say deep state and not Biden because quite obviously Joe Biden has never really been president. He did not really win the presidency, his presidency has always been fake and ghay. Jill was more president than Joe. Clown World is still very much in power.

I’m fairly certain Jeff Zeints is angling to pardon himself, along with all his co-conspirators in the making of a fake and ghay president. That I assume will be some of the first news of 2025, a blanket pardon for the Biden Admin, to go with/continue their pardons for thieves, fraudsters, murderers, rapists and pederasts?

It is still crazy train at the border, more or less wide open for such bad guys of a brown complexion to cross, for another three weeks. Will Mayorkas’ pardon cover treason? What about Javier Beccera at HHS, and mass murder by way of Covid? Or does he already have immunity? It is hard to tell these days, all the ways our government has set it up so government officials never have to take responsibility for anything, which of course is the absolute worst kind of incentive, excusing the worst kind of inhuman behavior, with predictable outcomes.

More like, my national debt, but somehow, more national debt…

I predict in 2025 we will find out the name of the woman who was burned to death by an illegal alien in the NYC subway two weeks ago. Though they might have to make it up, because slipping through the cracks or through the border, this government does not really care what your name is.

The Luigi Mangione trial will only happen in 2025 if New York prosecutors are on call to make sure it happens in 2025, at some opportune time to absolutely control the narrative for a month or two, as in the start of a new war or the expansion of an existing one. Wait for the scene that moron makes on the stand, it will be truly epic in the worst way imaginable. Dem social justice warriors are adrift in the wasteland of DEI, most of their NGO funding is going to be cut off, either they go mainstream normie or start mainlining revolution, which is to say, causing mayhem. They need a cause, why not the CEO killer, a cause celebre? Way crazier than the Joker.

Most of major media and state government officials particularly in California will be trying to conjure up a bird flu in the first three months of the year, if for no other reason than to throw a monkeywrench in the cabinet nomination process. I suspect the RFKjr and especially Pete Hegseth nominations to otherwise suck a lot of air out of the room. Kash Patel I suspect, if he sails through, he has a dual mandate from the Senate to reform the FBI and quash any real possibility of a covid reckoning. Rather he and Pam Bondi are going to focus on investigating Biden officials for more generalized corruption. RFKjr might become increasingly disillusioned as the year goes on, if they have chains around him about vaccines, and particularly mRNA fake vaccines. “Here are a few bread crumbs outlawing food coloring,” while big pharma, big health and big food go about uninterrupted, as per usual?

I suspect there will be at least a few high profile scapegoats Patel and Bondi will make examples of. But maybe just Dick Cheney’s daughter.

Expect a lot of tales of government officials practicing a slash and burn retreat in the face of DOGE. Everything of value not nailed down carted off, the rest put to the proverbial or very real fire. Leave no evidence of malfeasance! I assume that process started Nov 06. I do think DOGE will make a spectacle of the demolition of the Dept of Education, as symbolic of what they mean to do to all of government.

I expect the economy to languish a bit in 2025, contrary to what Trump is saying, because tax cuts will not really alleviate the hangover, after the ten trillion+ dollar above the board covid bonanza, plus 2 trillion per year deficit party of the Biden admin the last few years. Prices will not go down, but the people will be regaled with stories of the Hammer of Justice, so Trump will have a bit of a grace period this year. If the Economy is not on good footing going into 2026 the midterms could prove a problem for him. There is also the reality that even as the presidential race could not be gamed this year, a few Senate seats were (Arizona), and a lot of House seats (no way did Trump win like that, and then have no rise in the House.) There needs to be a lot of talk and walk about secure elections in 2025, to make for a fair election in 2026, unlike the BS elections of 2020 and 2022. Though it may prove just talk.

Censorship will decrease but the surveillance state will increase in scope, though censorship could very well continue, merely shifted to those who question Israel, then expanded if the right starts questioning Trump and Elon. I suspect though censorship will appear to take a blow, as the Administration does wind down the deep state connected censorship complex.

One real benefit will be the winding down of the war in Ukraine, and better relations with Putin and Russia. Ukrainians will not be so happy, having lost a generation of men, their country in tatters, for nothing but the fever dreams of empire of the Clinton/Obama/Biden coalition, for the vanity, and for both parties investments of the military contractor companies, and of course age-old money laundering. I expect something to go sideways in/with Ukraine, that could prove a great surprise and distraction.

Xi and Trump will rattle sabers publicly, and work together behind the scenes dividing up the world. There will be some kind of spoken or unspoken compromise on Taiwan, favorable to America and China. Probably both countries will use each other to initiate an arms races, particularly with drones and hypersonics.

Arguably the three most powerful men in the world, sorry not sorry, Clinton, Obama, Biden (but I can hear the refrain, “what about the joo bankers!” Well, that’s why I say arguably.)

The wild card of course is Israel. If Israel takes further steps in the so-called Greater Israel project, all their pets on both sides in Congress will talk about nothing but, emptying out the treasury and the military for them. I would not be surprised to see Israel try to take over Syria, posthaste. That could overwhelm everything, expand the WWZ Biden Admin initiated. Uniting the Muslim world, Sunni and Shia, exacerbating the ongoing Muslim invasion of Europe. I think Israel thinks it can do as it pleases, I think Jewish central bankers would like us to think they control the world. But I think their situation is a great deal more precarious than they think, and their hubris could get the best of them in 2025.

It is possible the deep state will work with Israel and bomb Iran, without Trump. Trump would then have to admit it was done without his approval, or claim it as his own. He would likely do the latter, though that could be used as a pretense to go full Caesar, though I doubt Trump is capable of that. I think Trump is otherwise mostly bluffing, when he talks tough about Iran.

Expect not much to happen with the purchase of Greenland, the annexation of Canada or the seizing of the Panama Canal.

Probably as a third-times-the-charm insurance, we will not see Trump and JD Vance on the same stage at any time this year, not even at the inaugural. JD Vance will probably not be all that visible this year, but he will be the most active and effective vice president in perhaps the history of this country, very likely working with DOGE and the cabinet to facilitate the (tailored) dismantling of the deep state.

That said, there needs to be a spectacle made of CIA, DOD and FBI, their fumigation as of so many termites, buildings gutted and remodeled. Trump needs effectively to go full-on Caesar, and get it right, so Augustus does not entrench the Head of State as Emperor and set forth a true decline and fall (which might be in the cards long term regardless, especially if Americans don’t get clear about it.)

Elon too had better take security seriously, getting those astronauts back from the space station this year, as there is several trillion dollars of deep state motive to sabotage that effort. His dreams of Mars and DOGE could flounder permanently it that project goes down in flames.

Jan O6 patriots will walk free.

Oil production will not increase appreciably, regardless of drill baby drill. Meanwhile the national debt is going to continue to increase. Probably we will start hearing some talk in the Trump Admin about jubilee, because otherwise he will be on pace to add another 7-10 trillion to the national debt.

But the fact is, there are structural problems in America that suggest decline more than the growth Trump and his people are imagining. The debt is not even the half of it, the demands on social security, medicare, medicaid and disability threaten to swamp the economy. That is the rationale for the open border, to bring in a bunch of people to take the place of the babies liberals did not have, to help pay for all those social programs (so politicians do not get their proverbial heads lopped off if they default on those programs.) Except the economy has been so mis-managed there really isn’t work for 10+ million military aged men, except taking jobs from Americans usually at a lower wage (which labor arbitrage was more of the unspoken rationale, besides gaming the elections and yes, a Great Replacement.) Not that those migrants want to work after Democrats have been bribing them with a trillion in benefits every year since 2021.

Illegal immigration will decline considerably, there will be significant deportations and remigration, but the RINOs and Dems will work together to increase Pajeet migration, and so-called skilled migration, because big business would rather employ compliant foreigners who don’t question anything and can be paid less, than white men capable of advocating for themselves and questioning (incompetent) authority. Dem leaders of Liberal states and cities will squawk a lot about deportations but mostly squawk, though don’t be surprised at all if social justice warriors bereft of purpose start preying upon ICE agents.

Kunstler gets into these structural problems in detail every year in his forecast. He also points out, since everything else including assassination didn’t work, why not implode the economy, for Trump to get blamed? After all, in case you haven’t noticed, damn near every official policy of the last several decades has been about weakening America and it’s people, such as we are now the least healthy people in the history of the world, on average.

Also, damn near every sector of the economy is a built-up racket. You don’t just unwind endemic corruption like that. Health Care is not going to suddenly be focused on prevention, and big food is not suddenly going to focus on whole foods, neither prevention of illness or whole foods being very lucrative. The entire system is designed to make us ill to treat (but not remedy) our illness. It is literally a 3-4trillion dollar scam. RFKjr does not have a magic wand to wave that away, not least that it is the basis of the retirement of the PMC. It is probable that if RFKjr is in any way effective in combating big Pharma, Health Care and Food, inflation could become a much worse problem, as those companies jack prices to make Trump and RFKjr look bad.

All in all, I expect there to be the appearance of great change, though it will be somewhat superficial. I like to think the Trump Admin is serious this time about dismantling the deep state. I truly hope they exceed my expectations. While the managerial, technocratic state may take a beating, I’m not so sure the corporate state will though.

Whatever 2025 brings, this substack is going to be engaged in a discussion about tangible things one can do to be stronger physically, mentally and spiritually, to be better prepared for whatever comes. I have minimal power to change anything on a society-wide scale, but what I can do is encourage you to strengthen yourself. You may or may not be satisfied with the change in government, but you have the power to change what you want about your life.
