NY Post: “The former prep school valedictorian was caught with a ghost gun that uses 9mm bullets, a silencer, a US passport, four fake IDs with names used during the killer’s stint in New York City and the manifesto, sources said.”
Not too smart a valedictorian apparently. Unless you want to get caught. Or maybe, he was framed.
Didn't seem to have much of an escape plan, but then it is very hard to travel in the modern age once your face is plastered all over the internet. He also posted a few things about how being highly intelligent makes you prone to confirmation bias. He might have sort of given himself up as a martyr. I wonder if we will see that manifesto, and I wonder, if he wasn't trying all that hard not to get caught, then why didn't he post it on X?
Of course we should be skeptical of the genuinely of this so keep that in mind. At any rate It’s not very long, it was more of a social media post than anything, nevertheless this is the link:
That does not say anything about parasites getting what they deserve, like I keep hearing in the MSM. Nor is it an anti-capitalist rant, necessarily. I copy, pasted and saved. That is absolutely motive however, if it is genuine. Not saying it is justified, but it is what I have been saying, if you prey upon people, sooner or later they are going to strike back.
Indeed, when I read it I didn’t really get anticapitalist vibes. If it’s legitimate, I would say it’s more or less a kid who saw his mom wrecked by the system and then experienced it with his own back surgery. If anything there’s a bit of Ted K to it. That’s a whole other rabbit hole though, considering the kid’s education and the CIA being known to recruit and experiment directly out of that sample pool. The whole thing is a tragedy really, just the organized and legalized crime chickens coming home to roost. This country is utterly corrupted.
I’ve heard that link might be fake and saw a different manifesto posted as well. Proceed with caution, it’s extremely hard to tell what’s true right now.
I’ve seen two, one that seems for the people, one for the feds, and then a third that Jesse Waters was quoting last night, which sounded like it was made up cobbled together by the deep state. They might all be false, for all we know for certain right now.
Certainly seems like he wanted to get caught. Who keeps damning evidence on their person?! Get a fake beard, put on a hat, shave your head, make an effort.
I doubt his manifesto will be made public unless he has a “dead hand” setup with a friend or family member or attorney. Can’t have him achieve martyr status.
These posts of Luigi Mangione are great finds and I think I'm going to be stealing some of these memes! The official story of catching this person of interest does not add up here. Authorities wouldn't lie to us, now would they?
They keep calling him anti-capitalist, but there is none of that in his x thread. He was radicalized between June and December, somehow. We are not going to be able to read his manifesto, I'm sure.
How do we not know that this is yet another “Psyop” operation, that they want us to believe, and then spread their ‘Psyop messaging’ regarding who the UHC CEO Killer was?
We can't know, but his X thread seems organic to me, and not even very radical at all. He does not seem necessarily right wing, but he is not really at all a lefty. They keep saying how anti-corporate, but there really isn't any of that in his X thread. I think we have to be skeptical about the “manifesto”, as they are not likely to ever release it, but will be interpreting it for us to be sure. If there is manipulation that is where it will be.
Something radicalized him though, since June, as he stopped posting after that. If he was political at all he didn't show it. If it were a psyop I would expect him to be more MAGA.
To a degree, but he was mostly just exploratory, trying to find himself. At times he repeated some climate change dogma, but toward the end of his posting on X last June, he seemed more concerned with the effect of modernity and technology on people. He was no leftist though.
When I wrote "us" I meant eco-reactionary. Yes, many on the deep right are in full denial on global warming. I am not one of them. I'm siding with the deep right because I want closed borders, smaller government and freedom of association.
I think that would qualify as one of us. Certainly matches my own ethical/political evolution, though I still have a long ways to go and am not nearly as fit/able as I would like to be. He seems like exactly the sort of man the establishment doesn't want this kind of slaying to come from.
Is that #Sicilian? ... Meanwhile ... What makes you think #Trump's “chicanery” is immune to demise?
I just saw #KH on #YouTube recently for the first time since November 5th.
She looked like she had been “sapped” of both her energy and her intelligence since November 5th, she was so scrambled!
But, please don’t blame it on the voters.
There were plenty of votes for “Kamala Harris”. But, our friendly band of merry #Oligarchs decided to take the outcome of the election upon themselves using tactics #RazPutin honed in the “Russian Federation” over the past Twenty-Five (25) years of political #F’ckery.
The “Bullet Ballots” … Where the alleged voter simply punches or marks the Presidential candidate down and then does not even bother to fill in the rest of the ballot ie.) Affirming judges, voting for down-ballot candidates for both State and Federal representation, Governors, Treasurers, Propositions, etc. … Were all blank in WAY too many instances during the current subject Presidential election … Except for a mark for #Trump, the felon, of course!
In fact, in some crucial swing states, the number of “Bullet Ballots” exceeded 5% of the total number of votes registered!
Pregunta: What then, you may ask, is a normal percentage of “Bullet Ballots” given the known statistics from all of our past elections for President in the aggregate?
Respuesta: A “normal” percentage?
How about less than ½ of 1%!
Therefore, it is INCUMBENT upon the candidate how she must fund, and how she must choose to enter her petitions for restitution as the legitimate 47th President of the United States.
And, as the only remaining buffer into our court system allowed for combating such #Trumpian-chicanery other than evoking #Joe’s new “Unitary Executive” powers that were recently granted to the President albeit with obviously their “useful idiot” #Trump deeply embedded in their crooked #Scotus-brains …
#Kamala’s expense as the candidate while raising the issue of too many “Bullet Ballots” discovered necessary to claim a legitimate outcome … Could indeed disqualify #Trump from claiming victory in our archaic “Electoral College” PRIOR to our country’s next “Inauguration Day” of January 20th, 2025.
Q: would you be in favor of someone killing the CEO of General Motors because thousands of people are killed every year by driving their vehicles? Is there a difference?
That would be a false equivalency. Providing the means for people to make a living, is not anything like depriving people of a service they have been paying for when your health and even life depend upon that service, or they bankrupt you by not paying for what they said they would pay.
Also, I've never said I am in favor of killing anybody.
I was being something tongue-in-cheek, with the grandiose line, but in the context I could probably have been more clear.
Again, there is no equivalency between a car and health insurance. The CEO's job depends on profits, and shareholder happiness. His compensation depends on that. UHC declined 32% of claims, twice the industry average. My guess is most of their profits evaporate if they pay most of those claims. The primary edict of health care in the West is "Do No Harm." They are doing a lot of harm, not paying so many claims. The cost of insurance is having a significantly parasitic effect on the economy. A weak economy, more people die.
Now I would say, if the CEO of a car company deliberately cut down on safety features over a period of years, in order to improve profits, and consequently many more people die in car crashes, then you have an argument.
I think we're both somewhat shocked at the vast herds of people who think this horror was in any way justified. I see it as a measure of how rapidly we are circling the drain.

Manifesto is already online if you haven’t seen it
Really? Got a link?

Yawn, there’s always a manifesto! I’m more of a comic strip kinda killer ;-)

Agree. The hit may have been real. But the perp may be a whole cloth fabrication.

i would prefer to have an ounce of wisdom rather than a metric ton of intelligence, any day.
no compute
This morning I am finding neither the killer or the killed very sympathetic. It is an evolving situation.
He was on Substack, too.
Did he have an avatar?
That first photo? There's something very wrong with that mouth, and those teeth.
Parts of the image don't belong.
Not saying it is, but AI imagery is known for random misfitting pieces.
Physiognomy is a thing. That dude is creepy AF.
too smart and too good looking for his own good
or smth
I’d say a whack job with thoughts of grandiosity.
Well, It probably is grandiose to shoot someone so brazenly, who has so much blood on his hands.

Then I mistook the meaning of "it probably is grandiose to shoot someone so brazenly, who has so much blood on his hands".
Depends on the use of "grandiose" in that sentence.
However, wouldn't the CEO of UHC be as far removed from the downside effects of their "product" as would the CEO of GM from theirs?
I was being something tongue-in-cheek, with the grandiose line, but in the context I could probably have been more clear.
