Some Thoughts on The War

I do not mean a war, I mean The War for the soul of humanity

I have held back from commenting on the situation in the Middle East and Israel specifically, because what do I know? Not much. I know what other people are saying about it. I can hardly imagine the horror of being in the middle of such a war. I also saw a lot of bloviating fools on Fox news initially, talking super tough like they wouldn’t cower in a corner and whimper in the middle of such a war. There is something grotesque about watching media “journalists” and their expert guests cast furious spittle about, in service to war and the military industrial complex, no question. Already though something has shifted, Fox News, CNN and MSNBC are united, talking more somberly, more gravely, no longer questioning the “Intelligence failure,” ready to support Israel no matter what, whatever it takes, because only a supporter of terrorists and unmitigated evil could possibly question this war. I can hear in their talk the beginning of something like 2001 (Afghanistan) or 2003 (Iraq), when one could not question war without being shouted down. They are not inspiring me to go to war at their call, more like I feel called to protect myself and mine from them and their kin, though I can sense a bipartisan fear building in America, which makes me very wary.

I learned a lot from Covid-19 policy, that government is full of lying liars and hardly a word of what they say can be believed. I find it a healthy policy these days, to listen to the experts on just about any topic, and then do the diametrically opposite thing they demand. In fact, I am getting as far away from their dictates as possible. As concerning the situation in Israel, the diametrically opposite thing is not to act a greater fool and support Hamas and the Palestinians, the opposite thing would be to not support the military Industrial complex making ever more war in service to bankers, in what seems a long term plan to destroy the economy to save the planet and to kill off as many people as possible by 2030, so the global elite can get their great reset and control the entire planet and everything on it (even more than they do now, with a lot fewer people to be troubled with.)

More people are starting to ask the question, what is the point exactly, letting in five million or more, military aged, single men, totally unvetted into this country? I imagine it would be ironic for some of these immigrants to be given the opportunity to dress up like a warrior and go house to house in Gaza looking to round up and kill Hamas, amid the two million people living on that tiny strip of land, maybe a year or two of “service” in exchange for citizenry, if they survived, which would not be likely. But somehow I don’t think that is the plan, necessarily, avoiding a draft by way of illegal immigration (I can imagine a scenario by which they institute a draft, send a lot of young male esp white American citizens into a Middle East meat grinder while they continue to allow military aged, brown male illegal immigrants into the country, to muck about as they like without any check.) I also wonder if part of the point is to let in some bad guys to make mischief and then use that to institute a domestic terrorism act to go after patriotic white guys (who aren’t subject to a draft.)

I had a curious conversation with a local member of law enforcement recently. He said even in this rural county the only people who are being prosecuted to the full extent of the law are white male drunk drivers; everybody else gets the look-the-other-way treatment. He said they have arrested not a few Mexican cartel members - here, not 200 miles from the Canadian border - who get handed to the feds to be released somewhere else in America, as far as he knows.

In that sense, it seems silly to call this thing in Israel an intelligence failure on the scale of 9/11. Israel was one of the first countries that pushed all it’s citizens to take mRNA jabs, the first to realize how deadly and damaging those jabs are, and the first to keep pushing the jabs even after realizing how deadly and damaging the jabs are. That wasn’t an intelligence failure, that is a question of, did the intelligence come before or after the jabs? Intelligence of the scale of a nation state, particularly in China, Israel, or the USA, doesn’t fail, there is merely a disconnect between what is desired and what the narrative is. 9/11 was an Intelligence success, because they got the Patriot Act and the Homeland Security Dept. Jan 06 was an Intelligence success, because they got to indict Trump and go full authoritarian on a segment of his followers to send a chilling message to the rest. Covid-19 was an Intelligence success, because they were able to flood the economy with 10+trillion to keep the banks and the dollar afloat, they got to test run nation-wide authoritarian controls, they damaged millions of hearts of young men who might otherwise rise up against the global elite some day, and it was used as cover to extra-judiciously prevent Trump from gaining another 4 years as President. The Intelligence didn’t fail in Israel, it is getting exactly what it wants, whatever sick twisted thing that is, I imagine. The problem isn’t that Intelligence fails, it is that Intelligence at the scale of the Nation State, in the decline of civilization, is inherently pathological.

Mathew Crawford calls it WWE. It is making him a bit paranoid, I have to say. He is a good reminder, with respect, to get regular sleep. Neoliberal Feudalism wrote a useful piece recently, about how all wars for probably the last 500 years are bankers wars. Useful, because it pays to be savvy about how to invest appropriately in times like these.

A kind of end is nigh. I don’t mean imminently, but it is past time to prepare. The debt of the United States stands at 33tril; with interest rates continuing to increase while the Uniparty in Congress continues to spend 30% more than they are taking in, with interest rates climbing, interest payments on that debt are going to go from 600bil to 3tril in a hurry. Apocalypse is mostly entertainment fantasy but the financial bankruptcy of the United States is going to feel like apocalypse to most consumer Americans.

Washington DC is feeling reckless with the dollar because DC really wants a CBDC, because a digital currency they think, will give them control over the people unlike any despot in the history of the world. They could cancel anyone they wanted to just like that, goodbye MAGA and anyone affiliated with the right, literally anyone critical of not just government, but of institutions and experts of every kind. But that is hubris, doomed. It is not merely that America has come to finance a two front war in Israel and Ukraine (not to mention all the special forces, covert wars we fight all over the world), it is entirely likely the situation in Israel could spiral into a greater conflict, which will exacerbate conflict globally, as America’s war machine has been a check on global conflict since the fall of the Soviet Union, but is now grossly over-extended, obsolete and woke trans incompetent. We have a weak, damaged, compromised President, we seem incapable of doing anything to prevent being invaded at the southern border, and financially we are every day more a hollow shell of an empire/economy.

What are any one of us supposed to do about that? I can’t very well comment on Global war without taking on the risk of further freaking out my readers, as if you need more of that right now. But I have to comment on it, to talk to you about getting your house in order, to be as prepared as you can be for whatever comes.

The first point in that regard would be to ground yourself in whatever it is you love, whatever and whoever that is. Ground yourself in the soil, woods and waters. Ground yourself in your skills and knowledge. Gratitude, gratitude, gratitude.

The second point, do not let yourself get caught up in the madness of it, either in support for war or in terror of it.

The third point, find balance and equilibrium in yourself, which is about focusing on the breath, meditation, reflection, quality regular sleep, good nutrition especially whole foods, regular vigorous physical activity including play etc.

The fourth point, prepare yourself materially. It was only a few generations ago, having a six month supply of food on hand would have been standard. Where is your water going to come from if the grid goes down? Cisterns used to be common too. Part of material readiness is skills. Part of strength of character is the continued ability to learn new things. In a crisis, skills don’t just make you more useful to others, skills beget a sense of purpose and meaning, which is critical to handling crisis with aplomb. What alternative currency are you going to use if the dollar collapses/there is only a CBDC?

The fifth point, who are your people? No man or woman is an island, communities handle crisis far better than individuals alone.

The sixth point, always remember, no matter what, never forget, hold it deep in your heart, the beauty of this life.

The seventh point, speak truth. Sing. Find your voice and use it.

The eighth point, cultivate understanding, look deep within and reconcile what you find with a world gone mad. Pay attention to and heed your intuition. Nurture understanding in others.

The ninth point, cultivate wisdom, look to history, think about what is required to protect yourself, the people you care about and the local.

The tenth point, take care of the self, get right with yourself, the creator and with your mortality.

All of this is just good life advice in good times, taking on something like imperative in “interesting” times.

This is a global war now, between good and evil, for the soul of humanity. But Hamas is not the bad guy and the governments of Israel and America the good; this expanding global war is evil, it is a purely destructive force, and the good are those who will resist in tangible and meaningful ways the pull toward mass psychosis and total chaos and global authoritarianism, coming together and taking care of what is local.

When I was an Admin at the website Doomstead Diner after the credit collapse of 2008, we talked extensively about what would happen when global resource constraints truly began to be a predicament: a problem you can do something about, a predicament can only be mitigated. With every passing year resource constraints are going to become an ever greater problem, especially for we Americans who are so accustomed to consuming so much, especially if we lose the petro dollar and the world reserve currency. Resource constraints are the fundamental crux of the global predicament, which crisis the globalists are trying to take advantage of, destroying the global economy to “save the planet,” making war all over the place.

The most positively transformative periods of my life were the Great Recession and the Covid-19 period to today. Crisis can generate positive change if you face it directly.

The globalist bankers and their minions seek to traumatize, soften up humanity by 2030, through fear, of climate change, pandemics and war, all of which is FAKERY BY DESIGN. Do not fear. Do not be traumatized. Do not submit to global tyranny. The globalists think they are going to destroy the world to save it, but they are only going to destroy themselves, and we will have an opportunity to rebuild a world that is healthier for everybody and everything in it.

Head the opposite way of the “experts”, as fast as you can, expanding your consciousness, emboldening yourself, achieving the fullness of your being.

Repeat: I can’t do much about global war; I do have a choice about how I face it.
