Demons don't have an identity, they're just hyper concentrated energy (for lack of a better term). They have no independent consciousness outside of the hosts which they adopt and then magnify the corrupted aspect of that person. A malice style demon sets the hosts malice on overdrive. Just as a greed does the same. Lust, rage, envy, etc. The demon is a specific type and in a magnetic sense is drawn to that energy in the host. That's why the person is always a characture of themselves. The rest of their identity burns away as the demon sets that part of them nuclear and then imprints who the person was as their own intentions thoughts. Even a possessed individual is acting on nothing more than an exaggerated version of what was already inside them. It's still you, just evil you.

I've heard, though never seen, that no matter how evil one has become, the innocence of childhood returns briefly in the moment just before death. That I imagine would be terrifying.

You likely heard that from me, and yes. It's all kinds of fk'd up

It is a basic principle in spiritual theory, too, but I think now I did hear you say that, and you would be the only one with experience in that regard I have ever known.

It's in that very very last moment when all of their baggage falls away and there's nothing left except the person they started out as and the confusion about what's happening as if they had just arrived that stays with you.

One of the primary goals of the Western magical tradition is to meet that moment fully prepared, passing through fully conscious.

I agree. I think it's too bad that the 'occult' has been so demonized in the west. I think one of the issues that the standard religions these days have is that they often don't have any path to true spirituality. So much human energy is being shoved into these massive cults which often serve as spiritual cul de sacs for the masses.

So where did you write about it, exactly? i'd like to read it, if possible.

Study of near-death experiences will shed some light on this (interesting how it has recently exploded in popularity, especially on Youtube).

"Demons don't have an identity, they're just hyper concentrated energy (for lack of a better term)." That sounds like an egregore. https://theosophy.wiki/en/Egregore

Egregores were recently re-introduced into the public conversation by Mark Stavish, https://www.amazon.com/Egregores-Occult-Entities-Watch-Destiny/dp/1620555778 also https://voxhermes.wordpress.com/2016/11/10/egregores-and-you-an-update/

They are just one of what I believe are an infinite number of non or semi-corporeal entities that populate reality (some are closer and more likely to interact with us than others, others will probably never).

It is crucial to make the distinction between "the occult" and "the dark occult." When people and groups sequester knowledge/information — whether esoteric or exoteric — for themselves in order to manifest power over others (i.e., consciousness manipulation), that is dark occultism, and yes, I would consider that practicing evil.

I agree that we ought never to consider human beings as demons, but many are certainly demonically possessed. Some of them DO NOT have a choice, as they were either born into bloodline families or kidnapped as infants/children by bloodliners. However, I believe that each of these people have "wake up" moments during which they can attempt to remove the entity attachments and flee the dark-occulted group. We see this with celebrities such as Kanye West a few years ago. He unfortunately had his lucid moment while on stage and was immediately removed and brought in for reprogramming.

I have been deeply curious about the difference between what we humans like to *call* love and what love actually *is*.

Having been deeply involved in religious communities earlier in my life I understand how much I have come from a place I thought of as loving yet which was not. Much of it was fear.

My discernment between the two is now rooted in my body. I ask myself: is this love or is this fear? If it’s not love, it’s fear! And fear is not love.

It really is that simple for me now.

I define love as "That which you behold in it's totality, and wish it to be happy." Maybe that also works for you, or if you have a better one LMK please.

"Let me know what you think."

LOL, OK, here ya go:

Everything I'm seeing is pointing to a collapse of the GAE, followed by two years of bullshit (figuring out how to keep everything working without the USD system, expelling/retiring invaders, tracking down the criminal psychopaths that attempted to wreck it all so they could rule over the ashes kill/imprison them and take all their shit, etc.). This is probably gonna get going seriously this Spring, so if you have any last minute shit of your own to take care of, get it together.

After that there will be a period of rebuilding and invention that will rip everyone's face off. It's really going to be glorious. We're going to get to live in Sci-Fi world for real. I'm envious of you young bucks because you'll get to live in it longer (but maybe all my biohacking for life-extension will pay off, and I won't feel shorted, heheh). Some of the technology we're going to develop is going to concern psychic abilities, some of it energy, some anti-gravity, some health related, and others.

Through all of this, but accelerating, will be the revelation of humanity's true history, nature, and purpose. This is going to fundamentally transform all the Abrahamic religions, which are not organic, but constructed as control mechanisms to make humans manageable. Fundamentalists are gonna have a bad time (e.g. I think there's a strong probability we're going to get strong evidence Jesus and Buddha were the same man). Some will accept the evidence and get a greater understanding which will serve them well. Some fewer will retreat more deeply into their fundamentalism out of fear. Others will walk away, unmoored and tossed about by circumstance.

Much of this I've taken from Clif High https://clifhigh.substack.com/ & https://clifhighvideos.com/ , who's been more right than wrong over the years (he did a lot before he came on to Substack). I've also gotten bits and pieces from many other sources. None of the current developments I've been seeing indicate anything to the contrary.

Oh yeah, there's gonna also be space aliens. We're gonna finally get to meet the neighbors.

Ok, I just got back from Clif High''s Substack. Normally I feel like I'm miles away from normies...But Clif makes me feel very normal.

There is another guy you might check out if you entertain simulation or simulacrum. Martin Vrijland. Also Jason Breshears his yt channel is Archaix. Sol Luckman has done some interviews with him on his yt channel

Thank you. Will check them out.

Martin is from the Netherlands so you will have to translate his work. He has a section on Simulation and Domes. A great deal of articles. And on current events. If you cant access i can give you links. His site is secure because of attacks. Sols chats with. Jason from Archaix are really good. Or a good place to start with Jason. He has tons of videos on evidence of the simulacrum.

I imagine most Uncle Clif noobs feel that way. If you're new to him I agree it's going to be a *lot* to absorb. I've been paying attention to him since 1999 or thereabouts, so I've had time to observe.

Some caveats: He gets some things wrong. Also, things tend to take longer and not be quite as severe as he predicts. This isn't necessarily a bad thing.

That said: If we'd all dropped $10k when he was pushing BTC hard at $700, we'd all have 14.29 BTC, heheh.

More importantly, his timeframes are syncing up with Martin Armstrong's (who he's familiar with, but doesn't follow), and the exhaustion of the Bank Term Funding Program (which is due to run out in April at the current burn rate), so it looks like we're gonna get some action there soon, about April.

Most optimistic is he says Global Revolution 1.0 starts in Sweden, and then spreads south from there. He's predicting it's going to be quite sporty. I can easily see things popping off there first (something about white people being really nice until they aren't).

All the space alium stuff checks out with regards to it being the base of the Old Testament as well. Check out Mauro Biglino's "The Naked Bible" for some insight there.

This is just a taste of what's going to come out over the next several years. Best buckle up your helmet.

Gonna get weird, no doubt. Though I'm going to take a "believe it when I see it" stance on Clif's perspective....and your perspective too. But no judgement.

No worries, and I don't blame you a bit, I realize it's so far outside the consensus it boggles the mind. It's to your great credit you can even entertain it.

But, at least now you won't be catatonic and twitching in the corner if (when) it shows up.

LOL, I was totally with ya through the first paragraph.

The rest of it is....most optimistic, much more than most optimistic of people I know...

I will have to check out Clif before I say more....though my first thought....hmm, he has like 73,200 more subscribers than I have....

Nice. Was that in one of Greer’s books? If so, which one? I’m on the CGD path but at the Bardic level and have not encountered that one.

Thank you for this. I have been looking for a replacement for the lesser pentagram for awhile. This one looks like something I can adapt to my own heathen/pagan sensibilities rather than relying on a system I have less affinity for.

I have no experience with the lesser pentagram, but I have been thinking about looking in to it. It seemed a point from cards I pulled for 2024.

It is a very effective ritual and works well with it's system. As I said above though, I don't think it always fits in well with all systems.

Expand full comment

Oh, I forgot to mention: the "Heathen Golden Dawn" system of which those two rituals are the core got picked up by one of Greer's readers (Isaac Hill, co-host of the "Plant Cunning" podcast) and worked up into a book, which is coming out shortly, if you're looking for a complete system and want to continue working with GD-style magic: https://bookshop.org/p/books/the-heathen-golden-dawn-a-complete-course-of-heathen-ceremonial-magic-isaac-hill/20272814?ean=9781801521284

Thanks!

I pretty much learned the GD stuff first, but have never felt entirely comfortable using judeo-christian imagery in some of my work. It's fine, works and has it's place, but I've had times when I've wanted to get more into nature deities, etc and a lot of the GD stuff just doesn't fit well. However (and I hate to say this color me a snob, LOL) some of the less formal new age/witchy stuff just doesn't hold the gravitas nor IMO, is as effective.

Again thank you for the wonderful suggestions! :)

baker charlie, for what it's worth, I've found the Sphere of Protection quite compatible with heathen sensibilities - I done it almost daily for almost three years now, calling upon heathen Gods in each direction. If you get John Michael Greer's *The Way of the Golden Section,* it has the more detailed instructions, along with multiple suggested sets of deities so you can work out what works best for you (I use a slightly different set). On the other hand, if nature speaks to you more than sacred geometry, you can learn the same ritual from the *Druid Magic Handbook,* which is where I first learned it.

One more thing, though: if you already know the Lesser Ritual of the Pentagram, you might be interested in Greer's heathen version of that and the middle pillar exercise, which can be found here: https://ecosophia.dreamwidth.org/26433.html and here: https://ecosophia.dreamwidth.org/31086.html

Whatever you pursue, best of luck,

Jeff
