This is fantastic - I love your writing.

Your description of coming to understand the trans movement perfectly describes my journey from a pro-feminism woman to decidedly anti-feminist. I was good with it when it meant equal protection or possibilities and not societally forcing women “into the kitchen” if that’s not what they wanted. But no, decades later, and having my own daughter and seeing the world she now lives in, I’m embarrassed by women. That feminism started as rights for women is a given. That it now is weaponized against women with them falling on their own proverbial swords is blatantly obvious. They’re fighting for their own erasure and elimination from what makes them vital to a functioning world. I refuse to play oppression Olympics (and I have special needs kids - the push to elevate disability is strong, too, and I do not buy it), and like Chris Bray says, seriously, how does this end?

Thank you! I have been fascinated of late by the old idea that we need more women in power, because of their supposed more humane attitude about the world. But then when you see the likes of Hillary, the New Mexico Governor, the many female CEO's of weapons contractors etc, that idea is laughable. Also I have been pointing out lately, the one thing proven by Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is that brown men and women can be just as craven, immoral and authoritarian as any white man.

Don’t forget the worst war hawk and destroyer of nations of them all, Victoria Nuland.

You might consider writing about women "in power". Is that a contradiction in terms? Consider what anyone, male or female, has to be in order to survive in the corporate upper hierarchy. Might it be that "breaking the glass ceiliing" requires that you break yourself?

Ah. The requirement to remove humanity from the human. Hence genderlessness. Hmmm.

My worst bosses were women. My best boss ever also was a woman, though, but she had no interest in proving anything to anyone. She was just good at what she did. That was rare.

Great piece, Hunter! It is rather synchronistic that you are posting this today, as I am finishing up my own article on this "movement"💩🤣😭. When I do publish my piece, I'll be linking to your post.

It is also about destroying our common language and ruining our perception in a classic 2+2=5 manner It is being funded against the wishes of the majority of people by a mish mash of government, NGOs and billionaires.

It is transhumanism in sheep's clothing. It is being funded at the highest echelon of society.

Jennifer Bilek has done a lot of the tracing of funding. Funny, it often overlaps with the funding of our ongoing covid/pharma crisis.

Trans sounds like a weird cult to me. I'm not interested in being a part of it.

Hopefully it'll fizzle out, or find its niche.

What I worry about is authoritarian-minded people. The hats they choose to wear don't change my wariness of them.

Trans are unlikely to fizzle out. Too many of them have an incorrigible need to suck the air out of every room they are in.

Why is that? Narcissism? Righteousness? Hyperventilating Hyperbolic Hysteria syndrome?

I've been waiting since 2014 for it to 'fizzle out'.

The trans movement has morphed into the cultural equivalent of a drunken ex waving a gun around on the doorstep, while alternately threatening murder and suicide. It's time to lock the door and call 911.

Depends on where you live. In some jurisdictions calling 911 in that case might be construed by the prosecutor as a hate crime.

Excellent article, William. Thank you.

My sister and her husband warned me about the danger of woke, of which trans is a subset, in 2014. They saw the signs and understood who was funding it and why. Glad to see that you woke up.

If not too personal, aAe you and the significant other — 'She who must be obeyed,' as Rumpole of the Bailley would say — still ... ??? What?

Thank you Guy.

She is a wonderful and amazing woman. She left, and it was best for both of us.
